The short Anguilla dress is back again, this time in a naturally dyed indigo block print. We like to roll the sleeves and unbutton the neck.
hand block printed by a family of master printers in Bagru, India using natural indigo dye and "dabu" mud printing method. Mud is stamped to form the pattern and sawdust is applied to create a barrier before the fabric is dipped into a 12' deep indigo vat. Once washed and dried in the sun, the indigo and imperfect print appear. The color of the blue varies a bit piece to piece, which is all part of the beauty.
100% cotton voile and lined in 100% cotton.

Hand wash separately in cold water using pH neutral gentle detergent, avoid bleach, air dry away from sunlight. bleeding will occur. you can use a warm iron to smooth out any wrinkles. dry cleaning is also an option.
